John Osbaldeston

John trained and qualified as a Nurse in the Royal Air Force. Following 12 years’ service he joined the NHS as a staff nurse in a busy general hospital. Over the next 20 years, he followed his career ending as a night manager at a busy Accident and Emergency department. The NHS paid for further training and qualifications and his highest award is a PhD in Behavioural Psychology.

John retired early to look after his wife as she became more and more unwell and unable to do things for herself.

He was looking for something to keep his brain active and joined LCA as an adviser. As time progressed, he became an Advice Session Supervisor and held a position as the Volunteer Representative.

John became a Trustee in April 2016 and his goal is to ensure the continuing success of Liverpool Community Advice

He has three children, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
