In 2020 the Board of LCA approved a most important move into the help area of Mental Health and Wellbeing. This was enabled by the setting up of a Joint Venture with Evolving Mindset who are specialist mental health professionals. It is a very natural synergy for these organisations to work together to help this vital area human wellbeing.

We can organise one to one advice through to group workshop advice depending on the requirement of the individual and all this is done in the privacy of LCA premises or outreach facilities. As it is likely that problems with such things as Debt, Relationship and Housing issues lie at the centre of depression our Joint Venture will help to solve your issues.

Evolving Mindset are a recently formed Community Interest Company within the Liverpool area. Our aim is to provide education and support platforms to individuals who are experiencing mild to moderate Mental Health concerns, by offering free mental wellbeing sessions within our local communities.

Mental Health conditions currently affect 1 in 4 people within the UK, with conditions such as Stress, Depression and Anxiety dramatically on the increase.

Unfortunately, 6507 people took their own lives last year in the UK and our aim is to help our local communities reduce this figure, by proactively offering support at early intervention stage and GP referral to help improve participant’s mental and physical wellbeing.

Our programme is designed to engage, educate and empower participants to identify and address their own areas of concern and key drivers, which impact their mental wellbeing.

Our programme promotes long term sustainability for participants, through realistic goal setting, improving confidence, self-esteem and helping people to develop their own coping strategies.

A unique benefit of our programme is that it’s designed to include family members and carers, to support those suffering with Mental Health concerns.

  • Session 3: Stress and Anxiety Management
  • Session 4: Low Self-Esteem and Building Resilience
  • Session 5: Physical Well-being and Positive Habits
  • Session 6: Mindfulness and Relaxation
